I started playing guitar at age 15 and hit the ground running. I was in my first band after 1 year and moved to Boston at the age of 18 to attend Berklee College of Music. After two years at Berklee I moved back to Minnesota and was hired by a circuit cover band based out of Duluth called The Rage.

I played 4 days a week performing mostly classic rock and some current pop hits. At the age of 21 I moved on from the cover circuit and started writing/recording and performing with an original and called Srangelove. We recorded 2 demos at Pachyderm Studios and played opening slots for Ace Frehley, Reo Speedwagon, Quiot Riot, Night Ranger and several other touring acts. Strangelove dissolved after 3 years and I began writing and recording my own music as a lead vocalist/guitarist and this lead to my stint with Cold Cranking Amps. We were a progressive rock 3-piece who were hell bent on carving our own niche in the post rock scene. After 2 records, hundreds of shows and countless songs written I departed the band to start Casanatra. Casanatra recorded 5 records over the next 10 years, toured the Midwest and obtained a rabid cult following in the twin cities. Casanatra eventually morphed into Goodnight Ritual whom I currently write and record with, we’ve released 3 records and are working on a 4th.

In 2012 I helped form a Foo Fighters tribute called Fool Fighters. We continue to play sporadically but have performed at Roy Wilkins Auditorium, Moondance Jam, Halfway Jam and Tribute Fest between successful club dates. In January of 2015 I took over frontman duties in Uncle Chunk, a band with a strong name in the Midwest and a 20 year history of packed houses and festivals.
